Who receives your information
The Valley Index is a local discovery platform. When you send an insurance request, its operator receives your name, contact details, area, ZIP code, requested coverage type and preferred language. With your permission, the operator manually forwards the request to Vilma Insurance Agency Inc. Vilma handles insurance discussions, quotes and policies under its own privacy practices.
What we collect and why
We save the information you enter, your consent and its date, and the status of your request. For a business submission, we save the business details and submitter contact information to review and publish a listing. The contact email is not part of the public listing. Newsletter signup stores your email and consent on the launch waitlist.
Attribution and service providers
We record basic page and action counts and campaign tags to understand how people find and use the Index. Campaign tags are temporarily stored in your browser for the session. Our analytics respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. We do not send contact fields, insurance details or search terms to analytics. Hosting, database and configured email delivery providers process data to run the service. The site uses Google Fonts and may use Cloudflare Turnstile for spam prevention; those providers receive the connection information needed to serve these features.
Your choices
Submitting an insurance request does not subscribe you to marketing. Newsletter signup requires separate permission. Contact hello@thevalleyindex.com to access, correct or request deletion of your information, withdraw a pending request, or leave the newsletter list. If information has already been forwarded to Vilma, contact the agency as well for requests concerning its records.
Retention and security
Access to operational records is restricted. Requests and submissions are kept as needed to handle the request and evaluate the service; the operating guide sets a default 180-day review and deletion schedule. Analytics are retained for 90 days. Do not include Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, medical information or payment details in any form.
